Thomas Charles Fleming was a philanthropist living in Night Vale. He created Night Vale Botanic Gardens in partnership with mysterious, dangerous people. Feeling guilty, he tried to warn others about the danger by scribbling "stone crops" on a piece of paper while choking on a steak during a diner in the Moonlite All-Nite Diner. This resulted in Fleming being escorted out and presumably shot by Them.[1]
