Wow, this is not my interpretation at all. I see Desert Bluffs as the ultimate expression of the way some corporations view workers as parts or equipment rather than people, their machines literally made from corpses. I doubt that it is just Kevin's radio station which uses such devices, judging from how normal he thinks it is.
