The Night Vale Petting Zoo is apparently connected with a makeshift carnival.[1] It has long been home to some emaciated wolves and nothing else.[2] At the end of Capital Campaign, it is implied that all of the angora rabbits were donated to petting zo, where the wolves will eat them.
Those who draw purple pieces of paper in the quarterly lottery are ceremonially disemboweled and fed to the wolves.[1]
A recent donation of nearly eight thousand cuddly rabbits is expected to keep the wolves fed for months.[2]
