Hugh Jackman is a high-ranking employee at eGemony, where he is in charge of "dreamfluencing". He seems to be friends with Night Vale Community Radio's Station Management, whom he knows by their names. He likes to think that he is the Hugh Jackman [1].
Hugh was sent to Night Vale by eGemony to retrieve the case of Canadian Club whiskey which contained the soul of the town. He fell in love with a female spider working at the post office and wanted to stay in town until she loved him back, but was fooled by Cecil into leaving Night Vale. [2]
