Welcome to Night Vale Wiki

Elliott Fonseca is a student in Night Vale High School and a kicker for the Night Vale Scorpions.

Personality[]

Elliott values the subjects of time travel, spelunking, the moon, flags, etc. He's adamantly curious, harboring a tendency to get his head in the clouds and necessitating small things. He passionately looks for a possibility of time travel and seeks out his physics teacher, Mr. Yu, for advice. He can be surprisingly philosophical as a result of his inquisitiveness, describing his dreams functioning like "tone poems".

Said dreams are insinuated to be precognition; he recounted a peculiar dream revealing an adult him encountering his brother, Henry, behind bars.[1] Regardless of the debatable meaning and chance, he hopes he can prevent the chances of manifestation.

Outside of metaphysical interests, he has a desire for expeditions and wanting to travel out of state.

History[]

Elliott's father has custody over [him] and [his] younger brother, Henry. Elliott wishes to move in with his mother, reminiscing over treasured memories such as cave exploring. His intense desire to succeed in time travel walks him to speaking with his physics professor, Mr. Yu.

As of The Big Game, he's a punter in the Night Vale Scorpions football team. By the climax of said episode, he wins the game for his comrades and implied to have been rewarded with a pizza party.

Family[]

Elliott's Mother[]

Elliott overall has a positive relationship with his mother. He compares her to the Earth's depths --- "hard and cruel and beautiful". He often rears on accounts of spelunking with her and his siblings. He planned to request moving in with her on her birthday and cutting off his father's custody.

Elliott's Father[]

Not much is known about their dynamic other than Elliott drastically prefers his mother's care.

Eva[]

Elliott's older sister. He expresses dislike towards her but admits he loves her in a familial sense, and if he had to choose which sibling to live with, it would be Henry. They're students in the same school but have "different friends".

Henry[]

Elliott's younger brother. Elliott loves him dearly, but sweats over his personality change evoked by their sister and mother's separation. Henry reminds Elliott of a scorpion, and on the rare occasions his brother leaves his room he's often crass. Elliott claims to have dreamed about an adult, convicted Henry. The supposed vision has him fret over the probability of it happening.

Louisa[]

Elliott's stepmother. The two have a casual relationship since "Louisa could never love Elliott the way he wants to be loved". Elliott describes her as "a good person but uninteresting". He's especially bothered by the fact she's his father's girlfriend and not Elliott's mother.

Other Family[]

Elliott counts a grandfather, though it's unclear which portion of the family he's from. Elliott hadn't seen him since spring break when he was eleven. They had cake and watched "Bad Day at Black Rock" "together": He ended up observing his grandfather engaging in the film since it was too boring for his taste.
