- Delta Flight 18713: Cecil and Carlos watch a play (The Disappearance and Cover-up of Flight 18713 as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Night Vale under the Direction of Undercover Agents from the National Safety and Transportation Bureau) at the Night Vale Asylum. During the play, the inmates escape.
- Cecil and Carlos find the journal of Doug Biondi in an empty cell
- Roadblocks are set up around Night Vale to prevent the inmates from leaving the city
