Ash Beach is an artificially created beach located near Night Vale.
History[]
Ash Beach was created in the 1950s using the ashes of municipally-burned books that were deemed too dangerous or too boring to read.
With its reopening in 2017, there is a refurbished boardwalk there, with food trucks and carnival games.
Description[]
The beach is completely black (being made from the ashes of burned books). Beachgoers see figures rising out of the ashes and are given memories of lives that are not theirs.
