Plot Developments[]
- Huntokar: It is revealed that she is a goddess predating reality itself, that she created Night Vale by nurturing and teaching its people, and that she caused the bleeding together of all realities by attempting to save Night Vale when the world ended.
- The Woman from Italy, The Distant Prince & Glow Cloud: They are revealed to be gods who existed even before the Reality did.
- 1983: Huntokar reveals that on November 7, 1983, nuclear missiles were launched as a result of a misunderstanding, which resulted in the end of the world, and that Night Vale survived this (for certain values of 'survived') because she saved it.
- Dark Planet: Huntokar remembers seeing the planet right before the world ended. She also says that she sees it while telling her story and that it is so close she may be able to touch it.
- The Holes in Reality: The holes are revealed to be the result of Huntokar shattering the Reality while attempting to save Night Vale by separating it from the rest of the world.
